VectorPanic is simply the online blog & portfolio of Henrik Andersen. The website was hand-built by Henrik and 100% of the graphics were produced using Adobe Flash MX. Behind all the pretty PNG images a heart of pure XHTML, CSS, PHP and MySQL beats to keep the website alive. VectorPanic.com is on its 3rd redesign. Each version expresses some part of Henrik's personality, as all of his redesigns were very personal. Henrik also pays much attention to usability and SEO optimization when he is going for a new design.

About Henrik Andersen

Henrik Mats Peter Andersen, born in Karlskrona, Blekinge, Sweden, is currently the ancient age of 21. When he's not working on websites, vector graphics, webcomics, school projects or working extra as a baker, he mostly prefers to sleep. But in between work and sleep he tries to squeeze in some hobbies including: photography, Movies, Gaming, butt-loads of coffee, Apple products and spending some time with his girlfriend Anna.

Since August 29, 2007, Henrik has been studying new digital interactive media full-time at the University of Växjö, Sweden. The list of courses includes Webdesign, Graphic Design, Visual Interface Design, WebPrograming, 3D Modeling, Photography & more..

How it all works..

Most of Henrik's time is spent in Adobe Flash, but he also spend a fair amount of his days working in Adobe Dreamweaver. These two amazing applications are actually all he needs to get the job done. The great thing about Adobe Flash is that it's vector-based, which means that you're only dealing with points and lines, you can enlarge them quite easily without any loss of detail. That makes vector graphics great for logos and prints which might need to be output at different sizes.
